What’s New in Release 8.4.14.15

We’ve been hard at work making feature enhancements for MyPOS Connect. Here is a list of updates added to the current software release.

What’s New in Release 8.4.13.85

With April half over, we continue to see strong demand for our Shopify integration for MyPOS Connect. As a result, we are finding more and more ways to improve the user experience. Following are details of the latest feature enhancements for MyPOS Connect, many of which are specifically for our Shopify Integration plug-in.

MyPOS Connect General Improvements:

  • Added prompt to print PO prior to posting in cases where PO is a partial receive

Shopify Integration Improvements:

  • Added new “Copy” button on Shopify Sync screen to capture error log
  • Added new prompt prior to Shopify Sync to warn use of products sync’d to other styles
  • Added new message box alerting user products belonging to other style already sync’d in Shopify prior to sync
  • Added phone number formatting for Shopify customers downloaded into MyPOS Connect (based on system settings)
  • Added syncing of non-taxable status on products to Shopify
  • Changed sales date on Shopify orders to match the download data instead of Shopify order date
  • Fixed issue where certain products on multiple promotions would duplicate in Shopify

What’s New in Release 8.4.13.80

You guessed it… more Shopify Integration improvements.

Release Date: 2020-04-03

  • Added feature to Shopify to show “Update Committed” button. This option will be used by users who want to archive an order on Shopify to prevent it from syncing to release the committed quantities in MyPOS Connect related with the archived Shopify order.  The “Update Committed” button can be enabled from the MyPOS Connect back office: System Settings, Shopify Settings.
  • Added feature that will prompt the user to “check (or uncheck) the ‘Web Product’ flag for all products with this style?” when checking the web flag on for any product in the style.

What’s New in Release 8.4.13.75

This week has seen a record number of customers deploying our Shopify integration to help them manage their online sales efforts. Normally we wouldn’t send out a release with so few features/changes – however, as many of you are only able to sell online, we thought it made sense to release Version 8.4.13.75 right away.

  • Added progress bars to Publish Products, Unpublish Products and Mark for Resync in Shopify Sync
  • Fixed issue where single products would duplicate in Shopify if linked to multiple expired promotions in MyPOS Connect
  • Fixed issue where unchecking the “Web Product” box would not always reset the Shopify ID stored in MyPOS Connect

What’s New in Release 8.4.13.70

In response to the influx of MyPOS Connect users who are getting setup to sell online, using our Shopify integration, this release includes a few improvements to help with the journey!

  • Added “Info Button” to lines in Purchase Orders to provide product information.
    • Default will show cost, on hand, restock level, reorder point, on order, on transfer in, on transfer out, sold in last 7 and sold in last 30 days.
  • Added note in the till to show which A/R Invoice has been paid.
  • Updated Shopify integration to discontinue use of now deprecated API calls.
  • Fixed issue with Multi-Selector where in certain cases, list included duplicate products.

  • Added feature where F12 button will simulate clicking “Finish” after a transaction has been posted
  • Added feature where columns in POs and Transfers can be resized and rearranged (changes are stored on each device)
  • Added scaling for POs and Transfers to support lower resolution screens
  • Added “Pack in Package” button to support re-packing of products
  • Added message in Stock Counts to suggest a Reconcile of count prior to printing discrepancy report
  • Updated Accounting Export files to show date ranges separated by a tilde (~)
  • Improved label printing to support Generic Text printers with printer programming language labels
  • Added tool tip in Promos to detail Promo Types
  • Fixed issue where when user chose “Yes” to print labels after PO receiving, they were not advanced to the “Labels” tab
  • Fixed issue with Shopify sync where if the Publish default on new products was off, in some cases product already published would be unpublished
