POS System Update – What’s New in Release V8.4.21.70

The following list describes the features and improvements in this new version release:
- Added new option to lock Purchase Order and Transfer numbers.
- To enable, MyPOS Connect Back Office –> Device Options -> Purchase Order and Transfer Options –> Purchase Order and Transfer Number Locked
- Added new option to include pennies with cash denominations.
- To change, MyPOS Connect Back Office –> Device Options -> Device Options -> Open / Close Settings –> Include Pennies with Cash Denominations
- Added option to allow quantity changes on saved work orders and quotes.
- To enable, MyPOS Connect Back Office –> Device Options -> Operational Settings –> Allow Quantity changes on saved Work Orders and Quotes
- Added option to prevent a user from modifying a price to be a negative value. The default of this new option is on.
- To change, Company Options -> Operational Settings –> Prevent negative Price Overrides
- Added option to confirm before saving of work orders and quotes.
- To enable, MyPOS Connect Back Office à Device Options -> Operational Settings –> Confirm Saving of Work Orders and Quotes
- Added a warning message when user attempts to deactivate or reset a device without first selecting a device.
- Added warning message when saving work order upon pick up of entire work order to inform the users that recent changes have been saved.
- Fixed issue where transfers out to supplier created via stock in limbo were using the weighted average cost instead of the supplier cost.
- Improved Age Restriction Prompt (Products) to additionally show “Must be born on or before [Day of week], [Month] [Day], [Year]”
- Improved cash denominations window by adding coin rolls and added support for Enter key and up/down arrows for easier navigation.
- Improved appearance of sales rep in the till by reducing font size.
- Added an option for built-in receipts to use the PC’s regional settings for currency. The default for this new option is ON.
- To change, MyPOS Connect Back Office –> Company Options -> Receipt Settings –> Use PC’s regional settings for currency shown on built-in receipts
