  • Further improvements to receipt search from till
    • Added Date Range
    • Added option to “Search this till Only”
    • Added ability to clear filters

  • Added option to show “PDF” buttons to print receipts and invoices to PDF
    • Device Options –> Till Button Settings –> Show Direct-to-PDF Print buttons
    • Optionally set a specific PDF Printer
    • Device Options –> Printer Setup –> PDF Printer Name
  • Added support for Barcode type 128 for improved scanning on longer codes
    • Label setup will require that “Value” be set to “Code128”.  Additionally, “Width” will be the actual width of the barcode
    • For example:
      • Begin BARCODE Object0
      • Value = “Code128”
      • CurrencyCode = “”
      • Left = 288
      • Top = 100
      • Width = 2160
    • Improved user experience when manually adding products to POs or Transfers

POS System Update – What’s New in Release 8.4.14.70

Release Date: September 29th, 2020.

  • Upgraded to Extended Validation SSL certificates (software signing certificate) ** Please note that this change may generate a prompt on your first restart after the upgrade. Simply choose “I just updated MyPOS Connect” and restart MyPOS Connect.
  • Added option for Google address auto complete to use postal abbreviations for Province/State.

POS System Update – What’s New in Release 8.4.14.60

Release Date: September 15th, 2020.

Added a feature to prompt user to create a new PO for remaining products when all products aren’t fully received.

Added a feature to display Total Savings on Till Screen and/or Dual Screen (Customer Display),

(Note, this feature is not recommended for low resolution monitors “Total Savings” will require additional screen real estate.)

To enable, Back Office –> Device Options –> Screen Setup –>

  • Show total savings on till
  • Show total savings on dual screen

Added a feature to the X/Z reports to break out Donations collected through Donation Prompt Feature.

The Donation Prompt feature prompts the cashier to ask the customer if they’d like to round the sales transaction up to the nearest full dollar and, if yes, allocates those funds to the “Donation” product.

To enable, Back Office –> Device Options –> Donations

  • Allow Donation Amount Override: (Optional – set if you want to include an “any amount” donation)
  • Donations Enabled (self-explanatory)
  • Donations Product Code (Provide the product code for the non-taxable donation product)

It’s been a few weeks since we released our last version of MyPOS Connect. But we’ve been hard at work building the following feature enhancements to make your life easier.

MyPOS Connect Updates:

  • Added button “Save New” in Purchase Orders and Transfers to allow for addition of new product without clicking “Back”.
  • Added new discount type “Markup from Cost”.
  • Added the ability to manipulate the ticket format for Shopify ticket orders.
    – In addition to size and color options, user can control which fields will appear on the ticket.
  • Improved Receipt search function in till by adding a “Search” button.
    – When user clicks Receipt button, receipt list is no longer assembled automatically. This allows the user to provide search criteria for a faster search.
  • Fixed issue where a work order with 100% deposit would disallow partial pickup when the option “Disallow Zero Tender” was set on
