POS System Update – What’s New in Release V8.4.17.70

- Added new logic to improve responsiveness in the till (most noticeable on larger transactions)
- Added Expired column to the Promotions grid
- Added Tax Change Reason Codes so that, when enabled, users in the till will be prompted to select a reason from a pre-defined list
- To setup, first, go to MyPOS Back Office –> Data Setup –> Reason Code and setup at least one Tax Change Reason Code. Next, in MyPOS Back Office –> System Settings –> Device Options –> Operational Settings –> Reason Code for Tax Change must be enabled
- The “Sales Tax Exemption” report, found under “Accounting Reports” will provide details on the exemptions
- Added Exit button on login screen to allow users to exit (close) MyPOS Connect without logging in
- This feature must be enabled in MyPOS Back Office –> System Settings –> Company Options –> Screen Settings –> Always Show Exit Button On Login Screen
- Corrected issue where transfers out to supplier originating from “Stock in Limbo” were not setting Closed Date
- Corrected issue with Shopify integration where a web product, formerly available in Shopify, was not found, the link to Shopify would not be reset in MyPOS Connect
- Prevent users from typing a minus sign when declaring credit card amounts for refunds
- Prevent users of lower security from seeing users with higher security in the back office (previously, only change disallowed)
- Updated logic when importing products to prevent users from mapping supplier related fields without mapping the supplier that’s required
- Updated Products “Description” field to be “Long Description” to improve clarity
